Well, I’m a programmer, I’m Brazilian, I’ve been working with web development for many years, and I love to work with WordPress.

I believe in simple solutions… so I always keep it simple while I can…

What I want with this blog is to share my solutions for PHP + WordPress… and maybe help people around the web.

Nice to meet you!

I am a middle aged student who loves the Web. I am currently taking a class covering CMS and Web Development. I really like WordPress, and this is one of the best examples of WordPress use that I have come across so far. I want to support your work, because it has helped me, and I’m sure others have benefited also. If you are ever up in the Pacific Northwest, Puget Sound area (Seattle-Tacoma) please let me know. I would like to meet up someday.

Thank you Earnest. Keep your study, hope you get the best experiences with WordPress. I thank you for your comments, I work on the blog in my free time and work as hard as I can to make my best. If you want to support my work, you can do it telling your friends about my blog, or using the donate linkk, that goes to Paypal. The most important was your opinion that is the kind of fuel I need to keep my work. I don’t think I’ll be able to go to USA soon, but If I go, I’ll let you know. I live in Brazil, RS State, Porto Alegre. My contact email is alvaron8@gmail.com. Thank you again for your comments. Best Regards.

You have a spelling error at the top of this page, where it reads: “This is a simple blog with simple ideias to help people with WordPress + PHP developing.” Change ideias to ideas. It happens to the best of us and on more than one occasion.

Also, where it reads in the introduction of About third paragraph: “What I want with this blog is share my solutions for PHP + WordPress” — add “to” between “is” and “share,” so that it reads grammatically correct.

The work you are doing is wonderful, keep up the good work. Thank you.

Can you provide a detailed description of how the Get Post List with Thumbnails is supposed to work and the all of the steps line by line, and a screenshot image showing the final result of how it works, so that a total beginner to web design and non-programmer using WordPress for the first time can use this fantastic plug-in. I have installed it, followed the screenshot directions, but cannot figure out how to upload a thumbnail or image to it and make it work. I need more instructions. Great job! Your work is really a bonus. Thank you.

Hello Earnest!Sure Thing! I’ll work on it and let you know. I’ll start tonight. Please keep in mind that I work in free time, so it may take a little long. Thank you again for your comments. Best Regards!

Ernest, just to help you while I’m building the main Get Post List with Thumbnails tutorial: this plugin displays a list of posts of your blog, and picks the first image of each post as a thumbnail. If your post doesn’t have a image, it will display only the title linked to your post. Take a look at this post to https://wpworks.wordpress.com/2011/02/01/display-wordpress-post-list-with-custom-size-thumbnails/ , it’s the original function that became the plugin. Anyway, I’ll be working on the tutorial and I’ll let you know. Best Regards.

Sorry, I’m just getting back to your site. I am finishing up with final exams at my university. Appreciate the comments and the revised post. I will be working soon for a WordPress developer and will try to stay involved in this site. Also, looks like you are involved with Post A Week, so I will try to visit there, also. Got to get back to my exams, but I have noted the revisions and your response. Thanks.
